CHALLENGE
Create a fully responsive site experience for a $50 billion startup called Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) for 44 countries in 9 languages—from pitch to launch—all in 10 months.

CONCEPT
Accelerate what’s next for enterprise by connecting customers to HPE’s technology, people and ideas with inspiring and interactive content.

SOLUTION
Our design solution had to support two core needs: a simple, and engaging customer-facing experience, and an authoring platform that’s easy to use and maintain. The site had to therefore be designed for both front and back end users, because the client’s in-house team would eventually be (and now is) in charge of content creation and upkeep. We leveraged Razorfish’s partnership with Adobe to create a fully responsive experience, featuring a robust content management system (CMS) that allowed for the implementation of new content and the migration of legacy data.

The design group was responsible for creating and managing a design system and CMS authoring requirements. In close collaboration with UX and content strategy teams, we mapped all content types to our system’s components to best present the information to our audiences. Working with offshore partners and in-house teams, including localization tracks and developers, we built the CMS components and their rules, figuring out how to make all content work across the breakpoints and form factors.

RESULTS
We launched hundreds of pages to 44 countries in 9 languages at once, which together tell a captivating story and unfold in an intuitive, progressive experience to support HPE’s transformative IT buying process. And in just one day after launch, the site had 57,000 unique visitors, 6,600 video views, 1,700 asset downloads and average visits lasting a whopping 4 minutes.
